Time for me to describe my experience of using the SHPAVVER vacuum beard trimmer and the way I feel about this tool after using it for months!
Trimming Closeness
I’m not very pleased with how close the SHPAVVER trimmer goes even without the guard on. It’s not going to give you a 5 o’clock shadow, rather something slightly longer.
I had better expectations for a stainless steel blade that’s close to a zero-overlap. And when I trim with the shortest guard on, it feels like a little longer than 1 mm in length.
Pressing the blade hard against the skin does give you a slightly closer result but the way this tool is designed, you’re going to get hampered due to the plastic edges of the handle.
Vacuum Effectiveness
It’s not mathematically possible to measure how much the vacuum efficiency is and for a baseline, I have to take SHPAVVER’s word for it.
